Jasenica

Jasenica is a village and municipality in Považská Bystrica District in the Trenčín Region of north-western Slovakia.
History:
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1269.
The impress of 1784 is The oldiest retained impress in Jasenica.

Geography:
Jasenica is lying among four hills Hradište, Dúbrava, Súdna and Lopušná.
The municipality lies at an altitude of 311 metres and covers an
area of 7.298 km². It has a population of about 1030 people.
